Meet the Team

Dr. Sara Cizek graduated from the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC in 2010. Since graduating, Dr. Cizek practiced in Northern California before returning to Southern California and finding a home in beautiful Ventura County.

Dr. Cizek is a current member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society. Dr. Cizek enjoys regularly attending the annual California Dental Association Conference and the annual Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry Conference. She’s a member of Phi Kappa Phi, and the dental fraternity Delta Sigma Delta.

Dr. Cizek grew up in Western Colorado and loves the desert. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned a degree in Physics before discovering her true passion for dentistry. Dr. Cizek previously led whitewater rafting trips in Utah and Arizona, but now is content boogie boarding, gardening, and hiking. She has a dog named Jordy, a cat named Austin, and is currently learning Polish.

Mayra is our front office coordinator. She is very experienced with scheduling and insurance billing and would be happy to assist you with anything related to the front office. While Mayra was born in Southern California, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska, at eight years of age. In Nebraska, Mayra received her degree in Business Administration from the Nebraska College of Business and also became a dental assistant. Mayra has been working in the dental field since 2002.

Mayra is bilingual in Spanish and English. Her main hobbies and interests outside the office are spending time with her daughter Lillian, perfecting her Twice Baked Chicken Parmigiana, and always having an ongoing house remodeling project.

Ambar has been a dental assistant for over 13 years and enjoys working chairside with patients. She was born and raised in Ventura County. She is married and has two wonderful children, Yesenia and Daniel.

In her spare time, she enjoys going camping, fishing, and riding bikes with her family.

Ambar looks forward to meeting our patients and future patients! She loves to see everyone smile!!

Amie is a graduate of the Oxnard College Dental Hygiene Program. She has a passion for helping her patients to achieve excellent oral health. Amie is an active member of her professional organization, the CDHA. She stays current in her knowledge of dental hygiene by attending continuing education courses throughout the year.

When she’s not at work treating periodontal disease, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband Brian, her two children, her bull dog Brandy and her cat Homie.

Gina grew up in Del Mar, CA and moved to Ventura in 2005. She became interested in a career as a dental hygienist when she began working in a dental office after graduating with her BS in Animal Science from UC Davis in 2004. In 2008, Gina graduated from the dental hygiene program at Oxnard College where she served as class president.

Gina enjoys the personal relationships that she develops with patients. She feels that it allows her to better assess and guide patients to improved oral health.

In her free time, Gina enjoys spending time with her family on camping trips.

Veronica, a.k.a. Vee, is a graduate from Oxnard College Dental Hygiene Program. Vee was born and raised in Santa Cruz County. She moved to Ventura County in 2002.

Vee has been working in the dental field for over 13 years. She is a current member of the California Dental Hygienists’ Association (CDHA).

Vee is bilingual in Spanish and English. In her free time, she enjoys fostering dogs from the animal shelter. Vee also enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband Damon, son Manny, and her two dogs Cali and Murci.
